大阪にイノベーションの生態系(エコシステム)を創出！
Creating Venture Habitat for innovation in Osaka!

起業家支援を行う株式会社 サンブリッジ グローバルベンチャーズは、関西での取り組みを強化する一環として、次世代のイノベーション創出を議論する場の「SEITAIKAI(生態会)」(生態系の会)を、2017年7月24日(月)に開催します。

生態系は「生物群集やそれらをとりまく環境」を意味しており、昨今、イノベーション創出の重要なキーワードになっています。東京では、イノベーションを生み育てる環境が整備されつつありますが、関西ではまだ十分とは言えません。そこで当社が培ってきたベンチャーやグローバル企業の支援のノウハウを活かして、東京にはない新しいイノベーションの生態系を大阪に作って参りたいと思います。そのキーワードに「グローバル」「女性」「ソーシャル」等があり、今回の「SEITAIKAI」では、それらを元に議論する予定です。

As part of our efforts to bolster future initiatives in the Kansai region, start-up support company SunBridge Global Ventures Inc. (SBGV) will be held “SEITAIKAI” (ecosystem meeting), an event to discuss the development of Venture Habitat for next-generation innovations, on Monday, July 24, 2017.

The term “habitat” means “biological-type system and its surrounding environments,” and it has become an important keyword in innovation arena. A platform for innovation has been successfully developed in  Tokyo, but still looks needed somewhat in the Kansai region. Given this situation, our goal is to make Venture Habitat, a new ecosystem for innovation, in Osaka that is unique to the region by bringing our know-how and expertise in supporting global venture companies. With keywords such as “global,” “women,” and “social,” we plan on having in-depth discussions on innovation at our upcoming SEITAIKAI event.

背景

当社は2012年の設立以来、東京と大阪で起業家支援を行ってきました。大阪ではグローバルベンチャーハビタット大阪をグランフロント大阪に設け、様々なプログラム提供や施設運営をしています。当社の前身となる株式会社サンブリッジが2000年に渋谷マークシティで開設した「サンブリッジ・ベンチャーハビタット」では、株式会社オウケイウェイヴ(2006年名古屋セントレックス上場）、NPO法人ETIC.、また米国西海岸のSalesforce.com, inc. (2004年ニューヨーク証券取引所上場)等、多様な会社が「場」を共有して、東京のスタートアップシーンの草創期の一角を担って参りました。今後当社は、東京での成功を関西でも再現するべく、本社を大阪に移し、さらに強力にスタートアップを支援していきます。

Ever since our establishment in 2012, we have supported start-ups in Tokyo and Osaka. In Osaka, we established Global Venture Habitat Osaka in Grand Front Osaka, where we offer various programs and operate the facility. At SunBridge Venture Habitat, which was established in 2000 in Shibuya Mark City by SunBridge Inc. (origin of SBGV), various venture companies, such as OKWAVE Co., Ltd. (listed on the Nagoya Stock Exchange’s Centrex in 2006), NPO ETIC, and Salesforce.com Inc. (listed on the New York Stock Exchange in 2004) from the east coast of the United States, shared the space and played an important roles in the early days of Tokyo’s start-up scene. Going forward, in order to duplicate our successes from Tokyo in the Kansai region, we will be transferring our headquarters to Osaka and further intensifying our support of start-ups.
